We did it! HR360 workers reach a historic first Tentative Agreement (HR360 SEIU Tentative Agreement full set with Signatures 2021)
Huge news—incoming SEIU 1021, 721 and 221 members at HealthRight360 officially have a Tentative Agreement for their first union contract! This historic victory for our union and for non-profit workers in California was made possible by solidarity and hard work from hundreds of HR360 workers up and down the state of California.
Workers secured a strong 2-year agreement that includes significant improvements and protections for workers, and the bargaining team is recommending a YES vote on this Tentative Agreement. In-person voting to ratify the contract is scheduled to be held in the coming weeks.
“This first union contract is a huge win for HR360 workers, our clients, and for HR360 as a whole. I am so proud of our bargaining team and of all our coworkers for the hard work that we have put into building our union and raising the standard for workers in our field. Our clients always come first, and our well-being as workers is integral to the care we provide- this union contract is just a first step in strengthening our commitment to the communities that we serve. I proudly recommend a YES vote,” said Nakia Holmes-Dominick, an HR360 Health Worker from the Isolation and Quarantine Hotel Site 16 in San Francisco.

“I’ve been working at HealthRight 360 for 1 year. I started as a temp and wanted to work here to advance my career in this field to eventually become a case manager. I support forming a union at HR360 because when I started as a temp, it was hard to take breaks because there weren’t enough people to cover my work. In transitioning to be permanent staff, I’ve noticed that a lot of us still don’t get adequate breaks and that compensation is not always based on qualifications. Even with working 40 hours a week, I’m not able to make ends meet and have humbled myself to sleep on a living room couch because I could no longer afford my rent. I would like to see more acknowledgement of employees’ qualifications and hard work in our pay and more opportunity for growth.”

“I do this job because I have a heart for helping people and that’s why I’m here. I’ve been told multiple times that I’d never be anything but I made a choice to do what I want in my life. Getting together in a union is a way for us to have better opportunities and be able to make decisions about our work. United we stand and divided we fall. That’s what I stand for and I’m always a person that believes in unity, whether it’s on the job or with my family, unity is where it’s at.”

SF Supervisor Hillary Ronen Supports HR 360 workers going union!
San Francisco Supervisor Hillary Ronen stopped by the SEIU 1021 office in San Francisco to endorse our campaign to go union. We discussed our worksite issues and she confirmed her full support.
Supervisor Ronen is contacting HealthRIGHT CEO Dr. Vitka Eisen to be neutral and, to please tell her management staff to remain neutral during our organizing drive. As soon as the letter is sent, we’ll post a copy here.
